ซอสามสาย และซอสามสายหลิบ

ซอสามสาย และซอสามสายหลิบ ซึ่งหมายถึงซอที่มีขนาดเล็กกว่าซอสามสายขนาดธรรมดา ทวนทำด้วยไม้หุ้มนากทั้งคัน ทวนกลางหุ้มทองคำลงยาสีเขียวและแดง มีพลอยสีขาวประดับที่ลูกบิด และที่ลวดทองคำ รัดคันซอเป็นข้อ ๆ ถ่วงหน้าทำด้วยเงินสลักลายกะไหล่ทองประดับนพรัตน์ ซอคู่นี้เดิมเก็บรักษาอยู่ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง

SOR SAM SAI and SOR SAM SAI LIB (a smaller version). The necks and the pointed base-stands are of wood covered with nag (a pinkish mixture of gold and other alloys). The middle necks are of gold with enamelling. The pegs as well as the gold decorated bows are studded with semi precious white stones. The 'sound weights' in front of the instruments are of silver gilt decorated with the auspicious nine gems. These instruments were kept in the Grand Palace.
